Hello Shai,
one approach I've been using is to upload the PowerPoint presentation
on the server, have it converted there by OpenOffice into SWF and then =
make
it available to all conference participants within a Flash Loader =
component.
As for the quality of the PPT to SWF conversion, OpenOffice works really
fine. It is a little bit trickier when you have to deal with things like
"next page", "previous page" or presentation resizing. The standard
Presentation SWF FCS component doesn't help you here: you either have to
modify it (rather heavily) or build a new one from scratch by using, for
instance, the Loader Component.
