Event Type: Warning Event Source: W3SVC Event Category: None Event ID: 36 Date: 1/29/2004 Time: 9:30:51 AM User: N/A Computer: WICKER-1 Description: The server failed to load application '/LM/W3SVC/1/Root/IISHelp'. The error was 'No such interface supported '. For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online S upport site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. I can see the virtual directory for IISHelp in IIS. I'm not sure how to fix this problem. Any suggestions?? Thanks Donnie

If you've ran IIS Lockdown on your web server, then chances are IISHelp has
been removed as a virtual directory, as part of the 'protection' process.
Not sure about the 500 error though.

Mylo

I found the fix for my problem at http://support.microsoft.com/?id=286814
It seems there was an issue with Seagate Crystal Reports 8.0
