hi,
am new to websphere portal server, 
am learning to develop portlet development,
 
as a part of it, am beginning to develop latest news portlet,

my questions are:

wcm enabling, i dont see that tab even though i followed 
registered admin in wcmadmins group and configured authoring (is that enough
, wcm is available by default on websphere portal server installation,isnt i
t?)

what is that i do to begin with to achieve the portlet development?

any inputs would be appreciable,
 
am in urgent need of any help on  this matter.
