Hello!

We are using CS2000 and currently have a freight table that we use to
calculate shipping rates depending on the areas and subtotal for the order.
We have a need to use a different set of shipping rates for different
products. Is there a way to change the order pipeline to use different
freight tables for different products? How would we go about this? Any
assistance would be helpful.

Thanks!

Dean

Hi Dean,

One way would be to

a. Assign a freight code to each product in the catalog based on the
calculation type
b. Create a pipeline component which gets this value from the _product_*
keys and calculates the freight.. This component can then assign the
calculated value to the standard keys used within the pipeline..

Check the help file and search for "orderform" & "shipping" to get a list of
these keys used within Commerce Server.
