Hi Dan,
It would be best to contact Microsoft Sales directory with these questions

EBusiness Server Team
I'll try to keep it brief, I'm a C++ / C#.Net developer with more
experience
in windows programming than web stuff, but have developed a few ASP.Net
applications.
I've been asked to look into creating a online store which handles things
like:
- a basic web portal
- ebay like facilities, overall seller details, with items for sale etc
- searching: project location, keywords on descriptions, by seller, etc
- people would be able to navigate to website directly, or would be able to
hook
into a client's intranet/applications. (thinking via a webservice)
- accept payments online (visa? paypal?)
From a completely Commerce Server naive person, would 2002 be able to
handle
all this?
Would there be a lot of custom code required to (I.E. I may as well write
it
myself anyway) get the portal I want?
Thanks for your input and suggestions.
Dan.
