Trouble Uploading Web Pages with FP XP/2002 |
 |
 |
|
|
05-23-05 01:47 AM
After installing Office 2003 on my system (without FrontPage 2003,) I also
installed FrontPage 2002 on the same system.
I'm having trouble figuring out what, if any, downloads/updates I should
install from the FrontPage Support pages at Microsoft Office Update in order
to bring my FrontPage 2002 installation up to date. On the FrontPage 2002
Support page, I found a notice that Office XP SP 3 is now available. Would
it be safe to install Office XP SP3 on my system, considering that all
Office product that I have installed except FrontPage on this system are
OFFICE 2003 applications--not--Office XP/2002?

Normally you should install MSO in order of builds (2002 products before 200
3 products)
First install the MSO 2002 updates (needed for FP 2002), then the MSO 2003 u

Thanks again, Stefan!
I have not yet downloaded and installed SP3 for FP 2002. So, should I
uninstall MSO 2003 entirely before installing SP3 for FP 2002, or not?
