Greetings,
We are having trouble installing Site Manager only on a few machines. What
are the pre-reqs and the step by step process to get it installed on those
stand alone machines?

We tried installing MCMS 2002 first before SP1 but that only allows you to
install CMS Server 2002 which requires SQL Server and IIS 5.0 or 6.0.

We are trying to only have Site Manager on a single computer without having
to install SQL Server or IIS. Is this possible? If so, please direct us ho
w
to accomplish this....Thanks

Thanks,

This isn't possible... you need to install MCMS on all servers you wish to
have Site Manager installed. Yes, it does require IIS, but it doesn't
require SQL on each installation. Use the DCA to configure MCMS to point to
a shared SQL database.

Hi AC,

that is not correct.
SiteManager is a client application and can be installed on machines that do
not have MCMS server installed.

Cheers,
Stefan
