Has any one else noticed that the last three days it is impossible to
connect to http://allmusic.com/ with Firefox 1.04.

Go with IE and it is fine.

Are they blocking Firefox?

Thanks for any help.

Just tried it with Firefox and it works fine for me..

There's a lot of javascript in the source. Maybe it's slowing down
your machine a bit.

I also noticed a lot of dll files..

I had a similar problem, but realised that it was because I was using the
URL that FF "remembered" from a previous Allmusic session.

Try just using www.allmusic.com without any of the stuff that comes after
the ".com" once you've got into the site. Works for me...

Thanks Paul and to the others that replied.

It appears that it must be something peculiar to my configuration. I
will have to check my logs and see what has changed in the last three
days or so.

Thanks again for the help.

Thanks "MrRx." This is really strange but when I clicked on your URL
it went right through. Yet when I click on any of my bookmarks for it
AMG never comes up. Even when I bookmarked it still would not come
back. Drop the "http" stuff and it loads?

Thanks again for the help I am lost without AMG.

actually, I tried the first link, and it didn't work, but the link that
P Pron provided did. The only difference I notice is the www in the
second link.

Yep it seems to be choking on the http:. If I just use
www.allmusic,com no problem.

Strange.

Nothing strange with that.

http://allmusic.com has no DNS pointed to it, as
http://www.allmusic.com has. Notice the difference, no "www" in the
first URL. A lot of domains work both ways, but that's not anything
that works "automatically". It has to be configured in the server.
