I'm getting this error while trying to deploy an orchestration, is there a
setting somewhere I can tell visual studio to overwrite the current
installation...?

Hello.

This can be changed by right clicking on your project, going to
Configuration Properties, Deployment.  Then, change Set Redeploy to True.
