Hi Everyone,

Linux VMware are all new to me.

When I try to install into a virutal machine I get the following error.

Please can anyone assist?

Contact the VMware support. Have your registration available on phone.

Run the X server in 16bit mode and not 24bit (true color).

vi /etc/X11/XF86Config

go to Section Screen and change

DefaultDepth     24 -> 16

restart the X server
