I have a schema that I'm mapping to that has an element defined as
'Any' (Any element). Is it possible to map typed elements in my source
schema to this Any element? Thanks.

Hi,

I don't know if this is still an issue for you but here's some info.

You can map from a record in your source schema to a record in the
destination schema that only has an any element below it. Example:

<Address>
<street />
<number />
..
</Address>

Can be mapped to:

<TargetAddress>
<ANY>
</ TargetAddress>

By dragging a link from Address to TargetAddress.

I have used "any" elements extensively, its very difficult using the mapper
to handle them, I use external xslt files to do all my mapping.

No it's not possible. A suggestion is to use a Scripting functoid and
write some inline XSLT.
