I have a Commerce Server install within my company that I need to change the
SMTP address for as we have just migrated our mail server.  Unfortuanly I
have no expereince with commerce server so I am a little in the dark.  Can
anyone give me some help on how to change the SMTP address for class server?

Adam,
I think this is what you're looking for:

Open  Commerce Server Manager


Expand:
"Commerce Server Manager" | "Global Resources" and RightClick the
"Direct Mail on <ServerName>" entry to bring up its properties.
Select "Delivery Locations" in the list. This is where you can update
the mail server to be used by the direct mailer object.

(I assume that you are referring to the Direct Mailer object and not
to the SMTP server property of the Mail object in ASP.NET code).

In addition to what Tomas has mentiond, there is a SMTP Server property of
the site available in App Config Settings resource. You'd need to modify thi
s
also through the Commerce Server MMC.
