I've narrowed down a home PC backup solution as a choice between the
following products:
Geniesoft GBM Pro 6.0, or
Stomp's BackUpMy PC 2005...but I have a few questions.

Any opinions regarding the integrity of these two?
Scheduling/automating will be used with an internal HD as the
destination drive.

Retrospect was also an option, but I fear it's a might sophisticated
for a novice user and I'd prefer not to have phone calls at 2AM. :-)

Also, is anyone aware of any "home-user" backup software package that
allows file previews/drag and drop in Windows Explorer? I remember back
in the day, OnStreams TBU software accomodated that, but I haven't
again seen that functionality in BU software. I appreciate any
responses.

Thanks.
Robert

If you want instant backup of your work as soon as you save a file why not
try AJC Active Backup:
http://www.ajcsoft.com/AJCActBk.php

This archives each file into a revision control system which means you have
multiple versions of the file kept. You can undo back to any version of a
file very easily and use the built in compare tool to see what has changed.

Backup to an internal drive is not useful.
Power glitches can easily destroy an internal drive, not to mention you need
to have more than 1 copy.
