Hi!

Is it possible to let the callmanager use an external
ldap Server ? For example openldap, Sun LDAP or something else.

Regards,
Ahmad

Cisco supports external ldap to netscape and Active Directory servers. =

Anything else you are welcome to attempt but TAC won't support it.

If you just want to add another option to the Directories button on =

your IP phones to search your external ldap that would be a lot simpler =

(hint, check out the directories URL in Enterprise Parameters and play =

with that asp file). Again TAC can't help you with this but Cisco's =

developer support program can, if you have such a contract.

Ahmad,

acquire the IP Phone Services SDK. This includes ldapsearch.asp for
configuring your own corportate directory.
