Hi all,

I have a commerce server site with a data warehouse that was unpacked
after the site was up and running. The Data warehouse unpacked with
no problems.

When I run any of the reports I get an error that says:

A connection to the database could not be established.
ADO Error:
Database xxxxxx des not exist
Microsoft OLEDB provider for Analysis Services
2451

The database server (both for the commerce database and data
warehouse) is a remote machine that has two named SQL Server
instances. It is not on the web server.

The DTS package to load the warehouse worked fine up until the step
where it was generating the reports. When I look at the tables
themselves, thers is data so I am think it has something to do with
the data being on a remote server.

Does anyone have any ideas on where to start?

TIA,
Frank

Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.

Did the report preparation DTS task completed successfully?
Is it the dynamic or static reports?
