I'm looking for some Backup Software that will backup all machines in a
domain (20 computers, mixture of Win2K and WinXP and mabe a couple of WinNT)
to hard disk(s). We'd need to be able to add disks as we run out of space.

Preferably it will run on Win XP (would that be possible instead of a server
OS?).

The best thing I have seen so far is Veritas Backup Exec 10 but that
requires a server instead of just Windows XP.

Any advice is much appreciated!

TIA

If you want to backup only your documents or other non-system files you can
try Backup4all (works with xp and doesn't need server OS -
http://www.backup4all.com ).

Hi, jumping on this thread ;-)

Had a read through your website, and am now left with these questions.
Does Backup4all allow the following:

1. Scheduled Mirror backup from drive A to B and C to D? All these
drives will be USB2 external drives attached to one computer.

2. Can I backup (mirror) an open Outlook pst file?

Thanks,

Al.

SyncBackSE can. It can copy open/locked files, as long as you're using
Windows XP or 2003 and the open/locked file is on a local NTFS volume.
You can download a fully functional trial version to make sure it meets
your requirements:
