If I run WebSphere_Portal (using debug mode from the adminconsole) it is pai
nfully slow
- takes 25 mins to start/stop
- takes atleast 10 mins for each page to render in portal

Is there something I am doing wrong or is there a way to increase the perfor
mace?

Portal is running on RH Linux ES3

i guess it's all the debug stuff going on that makes our portals sooo slow :
