Unable to login to FPSE with root

I've been having a ton of problems recently with trying to get FP extensions
to work with subdomains. I think I've figured that part out, but now
something completely new has cropped up.

I can't login to my Administration Home as "root". I can login as Admin,
but that doesn't help much. I've confirmed that the root password is correc
t
(I can login to my site's WHM panel with it), but Administration Home isn't
accepting it (it simply brings the login prompt back up, with the password
field blank).

Any ideas why this might be happening, and how to fix it?

Scott

Is "root" set up as an administrator in the Server Extensions? This
must be done, since the extensions will only allow access to those set
up as FrontPage users.

PS - if you are on a Unix system, you get better answers posting in
microsoft.public.frontpage.extensions.unix, rather than the Windows
extensions group. Windows users may not understand the significance
of the "root" username.

I didn't even realize there was such a group -- thanks, I'll try over there.
