I now have BizTalk 2002 and SQL Server 2000 on a different
Server and have again installed the Adapter for SQL on
this.  In this system when I attempt to create a receive
function I get the error:

"The system cannot find the file specified."

This happens when selecting NEXT from the SQL Script - Set
Database Task page.  When it should run the
script/procedure (I've tried both) and read the XML Schema.

In this case it does progress to the next page of the
wizard (Generate XML Schema).  However there is no Schema
in the text box and it cannot save so will not progress
beyond this page.

Any suggestions as to how I might try to resolve this?

Do you have SQL Xml SP2 or better installed on the Biztalk Server?

What is the SQL statement you are using with the receive function?

I installed SQL XML v3 sp1 as this is the listed requirement.  Should I upgr
ade to sp2?

I originally tried a stored procedure (containing a simple select from a sta
ndard table), but did switch this to the same select statement in the wizard
 itself.  When using the stored procedure I did add "FOR XML AUTO, XMLDATA" 
to the bottom of the select
statement.  I always got the same error.

It's just occurred to me.  Could this be some kind of missing write permissi
on on temporary directory problem?  I'm not sure how to test this though.

Does this fail for every select statement?  Does the tutorial work for SQL
Adapter?  What is the SQL service pack level and MDAC version?
