Hi, I'm trying to install wps 5.1 on an existing App Server (6.0). I choose 
the custom installation.The installation fails because it cannot find a webs
phere application server instance even if it exists.
Are there problem to install wps 5.1 with was 6.0?
Please help me.

portal 5.1.0.1 supports was 6.0

Quite right.

5.1.0.1 supports WebSphere v6 in toleration mode. 5.1.0.0 does not support
WebSphere v6.

The toleration mode is essentially portal without the business choreography
(WBISF) components. (My Tasks, workflows, etc)
