Hi

After picking through the pre-reqs and installation guide for biztalk 2004
on windows server 2003 I keep getting the following error message when the
configuration wizard is supposed to start...

Failed to create IConfig object for feature: SSOServer, Engine ProgID:
MSEBiz.SSOServerCfg

I've tried it with the dev edition and the trial Enterprise edition but same
error everytime.
I've tried custom installing without Enterprise Single Sign-on and
Enterprise Single Sign-on Admin checked.

STOP PRESS!!!

I've just gone to the setup files > platform folder > SSO folder > double
clicked SSO.msi. Not a lot happened, quick egg timer. Start > Run >
ConfigFramework.exe > enter and bingo! up pop the config wizard.

Hello,

How were you launching configframework when you saw the error? Did you
have SSO installed when you saw those errors?

Thanks.

I'm having the same problem as below. I have SSO installed and have made
sure the Service is running. I still get this message when I run the
ConfigFramework.exe. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling SSO, I have
also tried ConfigFramework.exe /u and then ConfigFramework.exe. Neither of
these has helped. I am running BTS 2004 on Win2003 Enterprise. The initial
installation of BTS did not indicate any problems, I just recieved this erro
r
when the configuration process started.

Is there another reason for this error?
Thanks.
