Hello Syed Mazhar Hasan,=20

Mine was done more or less as a joke, but my boss insisted that I
pursue it and he delegated my remaining projects to other students.

Personaly I think whiteboards are very userful at delineating ideas,
especially in a group setting, my end goal would be to eventually
(like) breeze be able to archive live data and play them back in sync
with one another. This unforunately is much simpler in concept than
actual implmentation. I like how yours is structured, with an xml
loaded menu on the side I assume? I have something similar on the
Admin side where the admin can basically execute getURL to every
Client listening.

Also anxiously waiting for native file upload support and external
Interface, with getpixel(). there's a company called "making things"
and they use an XML socket server to bridge a connection to hardware:
motors/sensors. Supposedly with externalInterface you can bypass that
and talk to the hardware. If that's possible than I have in mind an
autotracking webcam system to track the presenter. I believe someone
on the mailing list already built an Eye-Toy example.

Likewise, I'm attempting to pull PPT files and convert them into
images, the closest way I've found is to use automation with COM
objects, and somehow utilizing a universal print driver to convert MS
documents (.doc .xls .ppt) into progressive jpgs so that they can be
loaded. But I might just abandone the notion entirely, I'm sure there
has to be a much easier method. I believe that the newer generation of
MS products will fully embrace XML so that they can be easily parsed
by other applications. Buy hey its microsoft I don't really trust
them to abide by an web standards.

Cheers,
XiaoLei Shi
