I notice that this ITP is already 192 days old and still has not been acted
upon.

Meanwhile, I have been spending the last few hours helping the upstream auth
or clean up his source tree and doing
various improvements to the software to bring it to a state where it can be
uploaded to Debian.

As it so happens, ibuild was brought up again on the debian-custom mailing l
ist a few days ago, along with pressing
questions about the status of this ITP.

As such, I no longer see any valid reason to wait for the initial ITP submit
ter and am hereby hijacking this ITP and
proceeding with the submission of this new package to the archive.
