I just bought a Dell Powervault 122T with an LTO-2 drive. I am using Backup
Exec 10 and am only getting between 300-400 MB/min while backing up a local
drive. The data is only the OS, Server 2003 standard. Both Dell and
Veritas have said that 350 MB/min is excellent. Why then do the specs on
the drive say up to 2100 MB/min? I would love to hear your thoughts and
experiences on this subject. Thanks!
