Could anybody tell me if this is possible? are there any tools?

I'm trying to find a quick way to image biztalk server because we use so
many of them for development. When you rename the server the old server
shows up in BAM.

Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Hi,

I've posted a bit about this in my blog (link below). It's not fun to change
the name once BizTalk has been configured, but after install and before
config, it works fine.

The trick is to create a base image, and rename and distribute before
BizTalk configuration. You can also create a biztalk configuration XML file,
and drive the config from a batch script after the rename.

I'm writing a post about how to do this now, and hope to post it sometime
this week. (Feel free to contact me via the blog aand I can send you the
post, it's almost complete).

Regards,

ALan
