Hello everyone,

I am creating an intranet. I have a site called Company Intranet that I
created in IIS.

I pointed the home directory to the folder D:\Intranet. I placed a file
called test.html in that directory. However when I try to access
http://servername/test.html, I get the 404 error. I also tried moving
the home directory back to the default of c:\inetpub\wwwroot. I still
get a 404 error.

The site name test.html is listed when I go into IIS. I am on Windows
2003 server. I also have Windows Sharepoint Services installed. I can
access the default.aspx and other pages for it just fine.

I don't even know where to start looking for. Does anyone have any
ideas?

Thanks
