Hi.

I have a server with both CMS2002 (SP1a) and SPS2003, which is used for
Internet and Intranet sites (by now it has 32 CMS sites and 1 SPS
portal)

Lately I've noticed some recurring messages in Event Viewer about MCMS
Resource Manager Cache.

Here's the transcript:

***
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MCMS
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1600
Date: 30-08-2005
Time: 3:04:50
User: N/A
Computer: PWS01
Description:
Not enough disk space left on device for MCMS Resource Manager Cache.
***

Should I worry about this?
What can I do to prevent these messages from popping-up?

Thanks in advance,

Hugo

Hi Hugo,

there are three possible solutions:

1) ensure that sufficient disk space is available for the current cache
settings on the drive where your disk cache is currently located

2) reduce the disk cache size to a value that meets the free space on your
disk

3) move the disk cache to a location where sufficient space is available.

2 and 3 can be done using the options provided on the Cache tab in the SCA.

Cheers,
Stefan
