I see a similar message posted by lindleyc on 8/4/2005, but the stop press
solution, in the other thread, does not work for me.

error message in dialog box: "failed to create IConfig object for feature:
SSOServer, Engine ProgID: MSEBiz.SSOServerCfg"

I have 2 environments, each with BTS STD edition installed. The dev env has
BTS and SQL server installed on the same server. Everything works fine on
this server (and there is no SSO.msi file present).

My PROD env, which generates this error has BTS on a separate server from
SQL server. I have ensured that all the support software has been installed
in PROD. I can not launch the configframework.exe by clicking the file or
through the install wizard checkbox.

Any thoughts on how to proceed.

I finally found the file on the CD. I was looking within the Program Files
on the hard drive. By running the SSO.msi from the CD (
\Platform\SSO\SSO.msi)
