First off Redhat 8 is so old that it has no wireless support. You need to
switch your system to Fedora Core 4. Do a clean install of FC4, don't try
to do an upgrade from RH8, RH8 is to old for an upgrade to work reliably.
If there is native support for your wireless card FC4 will probably
recognize it during the install and allow you to set it up then. However
there is a very good chance that there is no native Linux support for your
card, in that case you'll have to install Ndiswrapper and use the XP
driver. Get Ndiswrapper here,
