have replaced my defective OnStream Echo 30GB parallel tape unit with the
same unit, but this time USB.

There's just no way that I get a drive letter assigned to the unit under XP.

Tried all kinds of (downloaded) drivers on both a desktop (Legend) as well
as a laptop (IBM Thinpad), but up till now no success.

Anyone any brilliant ideas?
