hello,

i am new to tru64.

I was given an alpha with tru64 v5.1 on it and asked to patch it with
all the security updates. i have searched and found all security
updates for v5.1, but all dated to 2003. my question is, do i need to
upgrade to v5.1B for other security patches?  would it be better to
just upgrade from v5.1 to v5.1B ? what's the step ?


FYI, patch level:

> dupatch -track -type kit

Patches installed on the system came from following patch kits:
--------------------------------------------------------------

- T64V51AS0003-20010413 OSF510
- T64V51AS0004-20011114 OSF510
- T64V51B19-C0136901-15143-ES-20020817 OSF510
- T64V51B19AS0005-20020411 OSF510

yet, another problem is that i  couldn't tell what patch level this
machine up to.
