Does anyone know of a good, free X-client for Windows?

Dan

I use XFree86 on a W2K at work. It is available together with other
Software from http://cygwin.com If your Windows-Box has no Internet
connection (or you don't want to overuse it for whatever reason) google
for mkcygwget to find some informations on building your own
cygwin-install DVD on a linux or unix box.

One version of mkcygwget can be found at
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/...ygwget?download

I used an older version, it was invoked with a cygwin mirror-site as
parameter, like

mkcygwget
ftp://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub...hat.com/cygwin/

(should be one line ...)

This skript creates another skript with many invocations of wget to
download a whole set of cygnus packages.

This is not the smallest solution, but it gives access to many
additional applications. At work, I run a windowmaker on my XFree86.
It's also part of the cygwin installation.

Kind regards
Thorsten M.
