Have you investigated this:
"Cannot connect to directory"
Looks like you are integrated with AD. Is the authentication information co
rrect? Do you have IP connectivity to the indicated AD server from this CM
server? Have you looking in a sniffer trace to see what, if any, communicat
ion is taking place between
CM and AD?
