hi all,

i am hosting a website on my websphere apps server 5.1 which is supported by
 ibm http server 1.3.28

the problem is that my http server hangs every 2 to 3 days..
ultimately i restart it and then it works fine for 2/3 days again...

i am unable to track the source of error,please help..

Increase the LogLevel for IHS in httpd.conf. This will help identify the
cause.

You could use the following to see how the IHS thread pool behaves.

* Apache Server status module
(http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_status.html).
* mod_mpmstats
(http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/https...erformance.html).

A possible cause of problem is that all threads in the IHS are busy because
the WebSphere application behind hangs, and all IHS threads are waiting
forever.
