Hi everyone,

I found following article about protecting one CMS-channel with SSL:

http://www.webservertalk.com/archiv...-2-110895.html.

I have ensured that all links to this channel use https, by creating
Custom HTTP Module and RequireSSL-custom property.

I know this is irritating, but can someone please explain in more
detail, how can I create identical structure in IIS as CMS-folder
structure as stated in this article. What should be the physical path
etc. Is there any other actions that I should take before this is ok?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Jarkko

Hi Jark,

that is not necessary.
You should implement the method with the RequireSSL custom property as
outlined here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...EnablingSSL.asp

The hint in the article you pointed out below was an older approach I
suggested before I implemented the more elegant solution with the http
module..

Cheers,
Stefan
