that is not necessary.
You should implement the method with the RequireSSL custom property as
outlined here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...EnablingSSL.asp
The hint in the article you pointed out below was an older approach I
suggested before I implemented the more elegant solution with the http
module..
