It seems that if I do anything using WPSconfig, I lose administrative access
 rights for wpsadmin and I have to re-install the software. I have searched 
and found a document that may be a solution. The solution requires me to con
nect to the database so I i
nstalled the My SQL Query portlet to connect to the database. The problem is
 that the query says that table WPS50 does not exist. This seems to be a pop
ular problem but am unable to find the solution. Can anyone advise?

- WPS50 seems like the name of a database rather than a table.

I installed Portal Express for Multiplatforms and it works fine. However, wh
en I follow the directions in the Info Center to have WebSphere authenticate
 against Domino, the user wpsadmin loses administrative privilages. I am try
ing to follow the solution

I made a mistake in my original post. WPS50 is a database. The error message
 I got was that table USER_DESC does not exist.
