CMS2002 SP1A

I'm getting an problem where 'randomly' the LastModifiedDate property of all
postings in a particular channel get set to a new date (all the
same)...assuming that the customer is not doing any posting imports - has
anyone got any ideas why this might be happening?

thanks in advance.

Hi,

this can happen if these items have been imported again using Site
Deployment.
Site Deployment import will update the last modidfied date of the imported
items to the date/time of the import.

Cheers,
Stefan

Ok thanks...on further questioning to the customer on what they were doing
at the time of the new date, I've found out they are manually re-ordering
the postings within site manager and I think this is causing the date to be
altered.

thanks again.

Hi,

that is correct.
That will change the SortOrdinal property of the posting and any property
change will cause an update of the LastModfied date.

Cheers,
Stefan
