Yes, deleting the virtual catalog meant that I was able to change the displa
y
name in the base catalog. Interesting too is that i had the same problem
doing this programatically as well: calling the save method wouldn't save th
e
info when dealing with the base catatlog while the VC existed. Once the VC
was deleted, calling the save method would work on the base catalog.

To make matters more confusing, I could change any of the properties that I
had added to the category definition both in CatMan and through code even
when the VC was present.

Anyways, thanks very much for your help. I greatly appreciate it.
