Hi,

Can anyone give us a direction to look for a problem we have? It is an
chat-application with video (webcam). It has 8GB of RAM from which 3GB in
use on a Red Hat Enterprise 3.0 server. The version is 1.5.2 r138 which as
far as I know the latest version of Flashcomm... When people connect the
first 7 or 8 connections are fine, the next one takes 40 seconds to connect
(before the connection is made). It happens every 8th or 9th connection. We
can have hundrends of connections at a time but just every 8th or 9th
connection takes 40 seconds to connect. We are sure it has nothing to do
with proxies or whatever but just can't figure out what the problem is...
Does anyone have a clue where to look?

Kind regards,

Mark de Jong

Do you have some autentification script that is made once the user
request the connection? does the server needs to connect to an
external service to do something when somebody connects? We once have
a problem not exactly the same but the server taked too much in
connecting via remoting to do a process but the problem was with the
WebServer not with FCS
