Using Weblogic 7, how can one make sure that managed servers get
started up when a machine reboots? The Admin server and Node managers
start up automatically as Windows services, but presumably the managed
services should be started by the admin server so they do not have
their own Windows services. Or can they have their own services too?

Also, should the Admin server windows service have a dependency on the
Node Manager windows service, to make sure the Node Manager is up
before the admin server tries to use it? This is not listed anywhere in
the documentation..

Regards,

Joop

Thats why you use Node Manager. They will restart the managed servers.
You could also start the managed servers as a service

The Node Manager does not appear to restart the Managed Server(s).
Maybe it has to do with our domain configuration, we use JMS. I noticed
a post somewhere about (non)migratable services causing trouble..

For some reason the node manager is not restarting the managed servers.
Maybe it has to do with using JMS, etc. The puzzle continues.
