I have recently downloaded the BizTalk FTP AIC component, and found while
the features are quite extensive, there are some serious drawbacks that I
just cannot fix:
1. How come the FTP receive function got no way to call preprocessor? Its a
very obvious fact that all receiving functions should allow an optional
preprocessor to sit in place so that the received legacy file can be
'nursed' before it could be something fitting BizTalk
2. FTP AIC Out: I havent tested yet, but I am sure one thing MS always
missing in all file related AIC- how to override the filename generation
mechanism? Most legacy system I have encountered indeed requires a sequence
number based generation while MS got no way to have such thing generated
seems (or am I missing something in this issue?)
Comments?
