We currently have 2 call manager servers running 2000.2.7 SR5 &
4.1(3)SR1, I am about to add another subscriber to the cluster, do I
have touse the same OS versions exactly or can I build this one with
2000.2.7 SR7.

I'm sure that it's recommended that ALL servers in the cluster be
running the same OS version.  You should install it with the same OS
version and then upgrade according to the recommended order.  Publisher,
TFTP server, subscribers, etc.......

Nick,

I am not aware of any direct installs to 2000.2.7sr7. all build scenarios
require 2000.2.7 and then apply the SR.

os version differences *shouldn't* matter, but all cisco testing uses the
same OS version throughout cluster.
