Dear All,

When I tried to install IP Communicator on Windows 2003 platform, it
will show the error message as attachment. Is it about the OS
incompability? Is there any patch from cisco for this problem? Thanks
for your help.

Regards,

Alan

There is not patch and it is probably unsupported. What you need to do
is modify the .msi package with an editor such as Orca. You can find it
on the web but they want you to download the Microsoft MSI software
developer kit in order to get this one file. If you search around you
may be able to find just the orca file itself.
After you install it you must open the .msi file up and modify the table
that looks for the OS version and remove the windows 2003 parameter. If
you write down the exact error you are getting you can search in orca
for the message and you can see where it is checking the OS version.
Modify it and save the file again and you should be all set. Happy
hunting.
