Hi Guys,

Some of you probably know already but I thought I should post a message to
this list so that those that don't know can attend. There will be an open
source flash conference (#1) this friday (21st of oct) at 6pm GMT hosted vi=
a
breeze. Info on the website about how to connect. One of the talks will be
on RED5 and Open Source flash server which supports streaming video via RTM=
P
and lots of other things. Anyway its still alpha (project only started abou=
t
a month ago) and this will be the first time its really shown in public. We
will provide a zip distribution for people to download and have a play with=
.
To find out more come to the conference, join the red5 mailing list (#2), o=
r
browse the project page hosted on osflash (#3). The project page will be
updated with more information before the conference (roadmap, updated FAQ,
demo distribution, etc).

As I can't watch at the time it is broadcasted, will the presentations
be online after the event, so I can still watch them some time later?

Thanks in advance
Joeri

Hi Joeri,

Sorry we asked, but MM cant record it for us Its very nice of them to
give us a free breeze account so we can't complain. We talked about trying
to record it ourselves but aparently there are issues with video and audio
sync.

Im sure there will be slides, docs and samples online for all of the talks
though.

Who knows maybe we will host our own conferences on red5 in a few months ;)

Try using a screen cap like snapz pro on mac or something on pc while
watching...should capture everything.
