USB audio device "breaks" flash plugin on Mac |

Someone else posted a message about audio recording at the wrong
speed. I have a similar problem, coupled with the fact that audio
will not play through the Flash plugin to my system-level audio
device. I think it's caused by a USB audio device.
I've noticed this problem on two separate computers, both iMacs, one
running OS 10.3, the other 10.4. On one computer, I used a
Plantronics USB headset, and on the other, a USB microphone from
Sampson. After using those devices, I could not play back Flash-based
audio through anything but USB headphones. Other system sounds play
through the computers' speakers, but not through Flash.
Has this problem been reported? Is it a documented issue? How can I
reset the Flash plugin on these systems to allow audio to play
through the system?
Thanks!
