Unable to rename files on FTP server

Hello,

I have run into an issue when setting up FTP through ISS
on a NT4 server.

I created the FTP site to point to the ftproot folder with
Read, Write and Log Access. I created a domain account
that will be used to access the FTP site and granted it
Site Operator privileges. I also gave the account log in
locally rights on the FTP server.

I then created a Virtual Directory to a shared folder on
another server with Read, Write, and Log Access. Everyone
has full control to the share and all folders under the
share.

The users can connect by using the domain account/pw that
I setup and they can traverse folders. They can also
download and upload files. But they are unable to
rename/copy items on the FTP server.

This is something that they used to be able to do on this
server before it crashed. Unfortunately, there were no
good backups.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

FYI...I thought I had downloaded all of the critical
updates from the Windows Update site, but obviously I
hadn't. Did that and it fixed the problem. Everything
works great now.
