Folks:


After launching IIS 6.0 on a Windows 2003 Server platform I notice two
nodes:

*  Default SMTP Virtual Server
*  Default NNTP Virtual Server

Could some one tell me what these these 2 nodes are used for ?
Is Microsoft Exchange Server needed to work with these 2 nodes ?
Is it for people who use their servers to run newsgroups ?
