Hi everyone,

I am desperately looking for help re-installing my C64 Stylus printer
under Redhat 8.0.

It has worked on this computer before (USB port) but my file system
recently got corrupted to the point where I had to reinstall RH 8.0.

I have used the CUPS interface to add the printer using both of the C60
drivers available and all I get when I try to print is a steady feed of
blank pages.

I remember having some difficulties when i first installed this printer
a year or so ago but don't remember what the final solution was.

Thanks for any assistance.

David

Should have taken the time and updated to a supported version of a Linux OS
like say FC3/4 (keeping in the Red Hat family) instead of reinstalling a
EOL'd (long ago) non-supported OS; http://fedora.redhat.com

I agree. FC3 and FC4 have built in C64 support. Your life will be much
easier if you spend 20 minutes and install FC4.

Thanks Lenard for the response. Yes, I agree but I would really like to
get back to where I was a month ago...

I have checked the web site you suggested and did not find it helped me
at all.

I am not a newbie at Linux but just cannot seem to get this thing working.

Regards,
David.

I will certainly look into upgrading to Fedora.
