Error 503: Failed to load target servlet [portal]

I just installed the PTF to 5.02 and I am receiving this error when
attempting to open the main portal. HAs anyone seen this before?

these are usually caused by a disconnect to the backend db..

debug:
Is db2/oracle up
can you query the dbs wps/etc...
open WAS admin counsole check jdbc connections to the databases

Yes. That was the issue. I found that the DB2 Fix pack modified the service
name in the services file. Once I modified the svcename and services files
to match I was able to open the portal.

Lou
