Ok,

I have set up a web page using FP 2003.http://www.seandmurphy.com/. I have
it up and running through webcity as host. I am on a paid plan -
http://hosting.webcity.com.au/ - $5.95/mnth. All this was relatively simple.
But I cant use the feedback page. I fill out the necessary fields and then
press submit I get this message -

Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page:

I have checked that FP extensions are supported and running with the host.

I have tried installing various scripts but dont know what I'm doing so
needless to say - doesnt work.

But thats about the limit of my expertise.

Please help

dazzla

Are the FP extensions actually installed?
Did you publish the site to live/remote site using File Menu | Publish Site
via http?

When submitting the feedback form:

Not Found
The requested URL /process1.asp was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an
ErrorDocument to handle the request.

----

Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.seandmurphy.com Port 80

The feed back form must not have an .asp extensions..it has be be htm.

And, the asp is not supported on the Apache server.

Hi Thomas,
Cheers for the reply. Extensions are installed. I have been editing the site
for the last 2 days and everything has been fine except I cant get the
feedback page to work. All other pages have had stuff added and deleted and
worked fine. Just the Feedback page and the submit button I cant configure.
cheers.

Hi Tom,
Thx for the reply.
According to the FP listings in the Folders list it is feedback.htm
I tried to set something up and got a different page that was an .asp page
but host would not accept so deleted it and kept original settings.
cheers
